Q. How helpful are smart classes?

Smart classes when used as per an individual’s strength prove to be extremely beneficial. Apart from the question and answer section present at the end of every chapter in the textbook, make sure that you solve or try to answer the MCQs at the end of chapters in the smart class content as well. Making yourself answer lots of questions just after being taught will help you understand in a much better way. Also, when being taught in the class, along with the visuals being shown, try to run your own imagination as well. Use the smart classes to enhance your imagination rather than restricting it.

Q. Is managing multitasking rocket science?

I love multitasking, having my plate full fills me with encouragement and the zeal to work my way through it. I swim, play badminton and am even fond of art and dancing. I recently choreographed in the school annual day event as well in addition to bagging in the 1st position in an art competition. Multitasking keeps me energized. Art in fact, really helps in improving one’s concentration power and determination.

Multitasking is nothing but undertaking lots of things you love doing at the same time. If you love what you do, multitasking will never be rocket signs. The one key for multitasking effectively is to enjoy whatever you do but meanwhile giving equal importance and priority to your studies.

Q. What is the key to your success?

I ensure to study for a minimum of 2-3 hours each day and target to complete one chapter at least. I even browse through certain online exercises and questions relating to certain chapters where I need more practice, this is best way for self-studying. Revising through different sources like different books other than those of your school, clearly tells where you stand and how much you have understood.

However, I do not study for long hours at a stretch, an hour in a go and then 5-10 mins keeps me engaged in studying and fresh too. Long hours of studying create pressure and you don’t take in much after a certain point of time.

Q. Your strategies for study effectively?

For instance, if I am studying maths, I make a point to remember the main formula which extends to many different formulae, instead of learning them all. It makes work and studying much easy. There is nothing to be scared of from any subject. When I don’t understand a concept, instead of getting grumpy, I try to find the part i do not understand. I go through the concept repeatedly, if then too its difficult, I ask my teacher.

Also, I always switch between subjects to keep my interest going as studying like this does not become monotonous. However, I keep my focus on one subject at a time even when switching. Participating in extempore is also another activiy which i take up for developing from within. This exapnds my knowledge pool in addition to boosting in effecient speaking skills and confidence in me.
