College Board announces new members of its India Global Higher Education Alliance

College Board, an American non-profit organisation recently announced this year’s list of institutions that will be part of its India Global Higher Education Alliance (IGHEA). They are as follows: 

  1. Jain University
  2. Jai Hind College (University of Mumbai)
  3. Plaksha University
  4. SASTRA (Deemed University)
  5. Shoolini University
  6. Symbiosis International (Deemed University)
  7. University of Petroleum and Energy Science (UPES)
  8. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT)

IGHEA is a group of universities in India and abroad that acts as a consortium to help Indian and international students apply to prestigious universities with the help of SAT.  The goal of this alliance is to implement best practices on campus to enhance the quality of higher education for Indian and international students, regardless of their economic background and place of origin. Moreover, it works towards the professional development of teachers and offers financial assistance in the form of scholarships.
