School timings changed in Punjab

A State Government spokesperson informed that the government schools in Punjab will have new school timings as per different seasons. Punjab Education Minister, Vijay Inder Singla, has approved the new time schedule for schools in the state. To abide by the new regulations, the time of primary schools from 1 October to 31 October 2019 and 1 March to 31 March 2020 will be from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Middle, high and higher secondary schools will run between 8.30 a.m. and 2.50 p.m.

The spokesperson also mentioned that from 1 November 2019 to 28 February 2020, the time for all primary schools will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., while the time for all the middle, high and higher secondary schools will be from 9 a.m. to 3.20 p.m.
