Since years, innovative methods have been incorporated in teaching styles to help students learn and understand better. From the use of black-boards, classrooms have been updated and moved towards flashcards and audio-visual materials. Traditional Classrooms

Earlier, students used to listen to their teachers and write down what was taught. Classes then were also not so interactive as they are now, with having no real activities to involve students while they learned. Also, teachers usually taught using various primitive ways i.e. teaching through books rather than trying to involve students. Teachers’ mindset then was that students would learn and understand better when taught in pin drop silence and under strict discipline.

Modern Classrooms

On the contrary, modern classrooms tread the interactive way. It is now believed that students will learn better if they are actively involved in the teaching-learning process, instead of simply sitting and listening to their teachers. These days, modern classrooms inspire students to learn, thereby stimulating their learning behavior as well.

When the classes are clubbed with interactive activities, students understand better as they are a part of what is being taught, rather than simply gaping at the teacher.

Hence, interactive and conductive classrooms work for the betterment of students not just in terms of their learning but also instills in them social and physical attributes required during their growing years. The modern way of teaching in fact proves to be a way to improve self-learning skills in students, along with their additional growth and development.
