After the election Commission announced the dates for election to legislative assemblies in the five states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur and Goa, the Chief Executive and Secretary of CISCE, Gerry Arathoon, informed that the exams would be rescheduled. Dates of at least 8 papers will have to be changed, he added. However he emphasised that of late no date has been finalised.
The ISC arts paper 1 was scheduled to be conducted on the 11th of February, the same date when the first phase of the polls will be held.
