Harvard University encourages student entrepreneurship
Harvard University plans on encouraging young minds to initiate impact-based start-ups. The students will be allocated resources to come up with innovative solutions to address the problems educators face in the day-to-day running of a school. The new initiative, known as Operation Impact, aims at providing the students with funds, infrastructure, and mentorship to institute their start-ups. It will also promote the importance of STEM education across the country.
The initiative is open to all Harvard students. In the course of their work, they will be provided with Smart software and hardware to facilitate collaboration and support the ongoing of ideas.
