Challenges in present education system

Indian education system has transformed a lot since independence and it is now one of the leading nations imparting quality knowledge. Some institutions have earned themselves a reputation even at the international level. Yet, a lot needs to be done to ensure that the country gets a balanced education system and that education reaches all parts of the country. While large cities almost always get the best in terms of infrastructure and facilities, schools in the rural areas are not so lucky.  The perceived goal of education to make the individual and society better in some qualitative sense.
