UP plans NCERT pattern of syllabus; to conduct exams under CCTV

The Uttar Pradesh government plans to reform the education system. It expects to introduce changes such as syllabus and exams based on the NCERT pattern. The government will also install CCTV cameras in the exam halls.
The state board will declare the dates for the exams very soon and expects to wrap up the exams within a month.
The government expects to curb cheating through the use of the cameras.
The Deputy Chief Minister of the state recently made these announcements at an event in Meerut.
