CBSE asks for applications from private and improvement exam candidates

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked for online applications for compartment and improvement exams. Class 10 and 12 students can apply online for the exams that the board will conduct in March 2018.

Candidates who have failed or are not eligible for improvement exams can appear as private candidates.

Candidates from regions other than Delhi can download their admit cards in February 2018. Those from Delhi can collect their admit cards from the examination centres, after the board uploads the details on its website.

Fees for the exams

They can access the detailed procedure of application, along with other details such as fee and eligibility, on the official website.

Students have to pay Rs.900 for five subjects. For every additional subject, the fee is Rs.180 and for practical exams it is Rs.80.

The last date of fee payment is November 27, 2017.

Visually impaired students do not have to pay any fees.
