How to Use Google Translate App’s Photo Tool?

Google Translate is a great tool for a global society like ours, where multilingualism is very much a part of the contemporary culture. The free app easily translates content from one language to the other, helping us gaining access to articles written in other languages, or translating information from our language to the required language.

Apart from its real-time video translation, the app has recently been updated with yet another fantastic tool, the photo tool, which allows you to use your phone’s camera to translate text in the world around you with the Translate app. For example, you can translate signs or handwritten notes.

With this feature, you can translate text in photos you have already taken, or you can translate text by pointing your phone’s camera lens. The second option is limited only for a few languages, and translations of small, badly lit, or stylized text could be less accurate.

Check out the video to know how to use this cool feature!
