Empowering! Kerala to train mothers in technology soon!
In terms of development, Kerala always sets positive examples for the country. Be it employing Dalits as priests of Hindu Temple, or bringing new changes in the education sector, always plays an important role for the betterment of society overall.
Recently, in a path-breaking initiative, the Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) has come up with the idea of training mothers in technology to make them able to help their children in school education. During the training, mothers will be introduced to better use of resources available in the textbooks via using QR codes. Apart from it, they will be introduced to the latest classroom learning processes to get a better idea to teach kids at home.
K. Anvar Sadath, head of the KITE, said, “The KITE initiative to empower mothers in technology is to benefit from the increased usage of internet through mobile. Necessary applications will be deployed for the smartphones owned by parents in advance,”
The smart training will start from next month.
