Digital education has brought a fundamental change to the teaching/learning process. It has added a creative streak to the way lessons are taught in the classrooms. Time and again, it has been proved that students–irrespective of their level of meritocracy–learn better in digital classrooms. They get a better understanding of difficult concepts as they learn through visual learning strategies. This also enables them to get more exposure to modern technology-based learning.
On the other hand, digital education makes teachers more productive and their lectures more value-based, interactive, and interesting. Thanks to various teacher training programs, the conventional chalk-and-talk mindset of teachers has shifted to digital teaching and learning. Most of these programs equip teachers better to use various digital teaching tools intensively.
Not only metropolises but remote areas are also reaping the benefits of digital classroom solutions. It is good to see that in addition to various state governments, NGOs and private companies are also taking initiatives to promote and popularize digital education in rural areas.
