CBSE Launches Exam Locator App to Help Students Appearing for Board Exams

As the board exams draw near, CBSE has launched a mobile app, Exam Locator to help students locate their examination centre and its geo-location based on their roll number.

“This mobile application has been developed for the students appearing for the CBSE Class X and XII board examinations beginning March 9 as a sequel to several IT initiatives taken by the Board,”CBSE’s spokesperson Rama Sharma is reported to have said. The students will be required to register their mobile number to receive a one-time password (OTP). Using the OTP they can log in to the app and have access to the address, images and location of the examination centre.

The Exam Locator app also has a ‘How to Reach’ feature using which students can find out the route from their current location to the examination centre.
