CBSE Class 12 Board Results Unlikely to be Released Today
The CBSE class 12 board exam results, which was likely to be released today, might now get delayed.
The Delhi High Court directed the board on Tuesday, 23rd May, to reinstate the marks moderation policy that was scraped out earlier. With this ruling coming in, uncertainty looms over the results. The marks will now have to be re-tabulated considering the moderation policy and hence it is certain that the results cannot be declared today.
Though the CBSE had not released an official date for declaration of results, media reports and exam portal had speculated that results would be declared on the 24th of May. As of now, there is no notification on the CBSE website or the official website(cbse.nic.in) for checking results (cbseresults.nic.in), as to when students will be able to get their results in hand.
What is the moderation policy? As per the policy 10-15% marks is given as grace marks by both CBSE and state boards in questions thought to be difficult by the boards. However, the extra marks is subject to a ceiling of 95%.
