Education is an important aspect of life in India. The investment made in the sector over the years has contributed hugely in propelling India’s growth in the knowledge economy. Quality content, combined with good access and infrastructure, coupled with technology to create, deliver, connect and teach content, helps build skills that increase the employability of an individual.

Technology is bringing about a major change in the teaching-learning methods in the country. It is creating new possibilities in education and taking education beyond the walls of the classroom. Efforts need to be made to create awareness about the benefits of technology – benefits in general and benefits in education. When people learn about the benefits, they will be more willing to adopt technology. The major factor that keeps people away from technology is the their perception that technology is difficult to use. User-friendly technology and tools will encourage more and more people of adopt technology.
