DAV Public School, Bhubaneswar, wins Heritage India Quiz
DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, Chandrashekharpur, Bhubaneswar, has won the CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2011 for the second time. They emerged victorious at the national finals held at the India Islamic Centre in New Delhi recently. The school, represented by Aswin Kumar Behera, Swastik Pradhan and Gaurav Jena, won the final round by a margin of 95 points. The quiz is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Over 10,000 schools affiliated to the CBSE participated in the competition. The winning team and their guide teacher received the champion’s trophy, a citation and a cash prize at the hands of Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Human Resource Development E. Ahmad and CBSE Chairman Vineet Joshi.
