Vignana Bharati to conduct national science talent search exam

Vignana Bharati (VIBHA) is going to conduct a national science talent search exam on November 26, 2017. The exam will be known as the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM). Nearly 5,00,000 students will take the exam across India, at 5,000 centres. The students will use their mobile phones for appearing in the exam.

Vigyan Prasar, which is an autonomous body under the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) and the department of science and technology, will partner with VIBHA for conducting the test.

The exam will have a junior section (classes 6-8) and a senior section (classes 9-11). It will test students for innovative learning, creative writing,  creative thinking, experimental skill, leadership qualities and presentation.

How to register for the test?

Students will be able to register through their schools for the multi-level competition. Schools can sign up to register their students, until September 20.

Students from classes 6 to 11 will be able to participate in the test, which will check their scientific temperament.
