CISCE announces revised datesheet

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has finally announced the revised dates for the ICSE and ISC exams. The revised time table was released on Friday, 13th January, 2017.

The dates of the examinations released earlier had been rolled back as they clashed with the dates of assembly polls in five states. As per the new schedule, ISC (theory) papers will begin from March 1st, Physics being the first paper. Students taking the ICSE exams, will appear for their first paper, English language, on March 10th.  The ISC (practical) exams commence on January 30 and continue till February, 8th. The ISC and ICSE exams conclude on 26th and 21st April, 2017 respectively.

CISCE chief executive and secretary, Gerry Arathoon, said in a press release that rescheduling of examinations will provide students with more preparation time. He added that the schedule of entrance examinations for admission to professional courses were kept in mind, in consideration of the candidates appearing for ISC examinations.
