IIT Kanpur will conduct JEE Advanced on May 20, 2018

IIT Kanpur is going to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced next year. The Joint Admission Board (JAB) for the IITs is yet to decide whether to conduct the exam as a computer-based test (CBT) or an online exam. Any of the zonal IITs conduct the exam on a rotational basis. IIT Roorkee, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati and IIT Madras are the zonal IITs.

What is the JEE?

The JEE forms the basis for admissions to government engineering colleges across India.

There are two phases of the examination. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the JEE Mains, which is the qualifying paper for JEE Advanced.
