Results out for round 5 of JoSAA seat allotment

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has declared the results for the fifth round of seat allotment. The process of counselling for JoSAA 2017 began on June 15. Nearly 1.5 lakh candidates who had cleared the JEE Advanced exam had indicated their choices for the allocation of seats.
Candidates can check their results on the official website at www.josaa.nic.in.
The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) has set up the JoSAA to regulate and manage seat allocation for 97 institutes for the 2017-18 academic year. This includes 23 IIITs, 31 NITs, 23 IITs and 20 other technical institutes funded by the government.
