85% MBBS Seats Reserved for Tamil Nadu Board Students

Leaving ICSE and CBSE students in a lurch, the Tamil Nadu government has issued an order reserving 85% of government quota seats for state board students in the MBBS and BDS admissions.
Tamil Nadu health minister C Vijayabaskar said that the move aims to protect the interest of 4.2 lakh Tamil Nadu students who constitute over 90% of the total class 12 students.
The medical counselling will begin on July 17.
