CreoVille – The Ultimate Guide for Pre-primary Teachers

Creo is a Latin word that means ‘to create’, and ville is a French word of Latin origin meaning ‘city’ or ‘town’. These words summarise the idea behind CreoVille, our new pre-primary magazine. Our vision is to produce articles and teaching material that will help pre-primary teachers turn their classroom into a ‘town of creativity’ in itself – a space filled with ideas, innovative teaching methods and above all, fun learning experiences for children.

CreoVille is a one-of-a-kind magazine that acts as a guide and repository of teaching aids for the classroom, making it a one-stop resource for pre-primary teachers.

The magazine will essentially be divided into two sections. The first section will comprise articles on relevant topics written by experienced industry professionals. The second section will focus on classroom aids such as puzzles, rhymes and worksheets, which are useful to the teacher on a daily basis.

The theme of our first issue is linguistic development in pre-primary students. Ms Rama Devi M, Subject Lead of NextPreprimary and a veteran in the education industry, offers valuable information and tips in her article, The Early Years: Essential For Linguistic Development In Children. It explores how the first few years of a child’s life play a major role in how they learn languages. 

Ms Rupal Jasraj Patel, renowned child psychologist and acclaimed author, offers valuable insight in her article, Holding the Parents’ Hands, a compassionate piece that prepares teachers for the nervousness and apprehension of parents sending their child to preschool for the first time. 

We have created a think tank consisting of some of the best minds in the education industry to guide and help us achieve our vision and potential. These industry professionals offer their expertise and knowledge to CreoVille and steer it in the right direction.
