However in another notification released on 3rd february said that \u201cappearance in NEET-2017 will be counted as first attempt for \u00a0all the candidates irrespective of their previous attempts in AIPMT\/NEET.\u201d However, the limitation on age remains.<\/p>\n<p>Students unable to appear for the examination on this account seem greatly dissatisfied, voicing their opinion that the decision has come very late; instead it should have been implemented a year before. Many students demand that the decision be revoked. In Allahabad, students have also been staging demonstrations and on Monday, 5th February, surrounded CBSE\u2019s regional office.<\/p>\n<p>It is also important to note here that according to a notification released by the external affairs ministry, even foreign nationals, including migrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh who were prosecuted for being Hindu, will not be able to get admission to medical courses in India based on the marks secured in class 12 . the decision comes from Supreme Court direction to make NEET mandatory for all medical admissions in the country.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dissent continues to increase among the student community with regard to the latest eligibility criteria of NEET 2017, which sets the upper age limit at 25 years and limits the number of attempts at three.
