Today’s teachers must be empowered professionally so that they continue to do yeoman service to education. They must be encouraged to cultivate critical thinking skills. Then only they will ensure that future generations make significant contributions to the country\u2019s progress and development. The need of the hour is to rebuild the professional identity of teachers and nurture their skills and professional competencies through various training programs. The work done by teachers reflects constitutional values, and society needs to recognize their work and reward them appropriately.<\/p>\n

Education is an important instrument for the social and economic transformation, and is the key to enhancing competitiveness in the global economy. Therefore, the role of teachers is quite significant.<\/p>\n
