It can be achieved in several ways, with a well-developed and systematic science education program being an important one.<\/p>\n<p>Science education, comprising robotics and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning, can produce an impressive number of researchers who can steer the country ahead with innovations and achievements. Not to be missed, the latest developments in India\u2019s space research bear a testimony to the fact.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, science education will help India emerge as a superpower. Therefore, it is important for teachers to inculcate a liking for science into students at the school level itself. Hands-on learning is one significant step to developing students\u2019 interest in science. It helps students understand how theories\u2014which appear complex and uninteresting\u2014actually have an application in real and everyday life. This will whet their appetite to explore further and learn how science affects and improves human life itself.<\/p>\n<p>This should be followed by higher education, which encourages curiosity and innovation, and the quest for knowledge. Such an initiative will encourage more and more students to take up science in a more serious way.
