\"\"<\/a>A skilled workforce that is in tune with the global economy is the key to maintaining India\u2019s leading position in technology. To that end, India\u2019s education system has adapted rapidly to meet growing demand and to overcome significant challenges. This has been done by reigniting student interest in the sciences, providing access to higher education and technology, and improving the use of technology as a tool to enhance learning. Technology has been harnessed in a big way to bring eLearning into the classrooms in the country to give the students the edge in this age of global competition.<\/p>\n

Efforts need to be made to help teachers shed their reservations about technology and their misconception that it is difficult to use. This can be done by conducting extensive workshops and training sessions to familiarise teachers with eLearning technologies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
