\"Major<\/a>Another piece of information that indicates that education is really the top priority in India. According to a study conducted by a business school and a consulting firm, education is on the top of the agenda when it comes to philanthropy for high net worth individuals. The study revealed that a major portion of the support from philanthropists \u2013 about 45 per cent, which is almost half of it \u2013 goes to education. The support is given in the form of assistance for infrastructure or community schools. In terms of support, community development comes next, followed by health care. This seems to indicate that everybody concerned, even people who share part of their wealth for development, feel that education is the most important way for society to progress. More grease to their elbow!<\/p>\n
