Our consciousness is separate from our body, and this is the reason we are able to perceive the concepts of swapping of bodies, afterlife and reincarnation.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What if machines also possess such a consciousness?<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Susan Scheider, the NASA\/Baruch Blumberg Chairperson, has devised tests to examine AI consciousness.
