Mathpresso, the South Korean edtech startup and the creator of AI-driven education app Qanda, has raised $14.5 million in series B round led by Legend Capital. 
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two new investors, InterVest and NP Investments, have also participated in the round along with existing investor Mirae Asset Venture Investment. 
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mathpresso\u2019s Qanda App is currently available in five languages \u2013 Korean, Japanese, English, Vietnamese and Indonesian. Students can take quick photos of questions and upload them on the app. 
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The app allows students to submit their questions directly to academic tutors. These are then immediately added to the app’s database, creating a compilation of questions and solutions that can be accessed by students through the app’s search engine. This consequently improves the platform\u2019s AI capabilities over time.
