Students who clear this examination will be eligible for admission in 23 IITs across the country. It will be conducted on Sunday, 17 May 2020. For the first time in history, the JEE will be held in the United States as well. The examination centre is to be set up in San Francisco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof V Ramgopal Rao, Director of IIT Delhi said, \u2018JEE Advanced is an examination conducted by IITs for admission to IITs. IITs have taken a conscious decision to encourage cultural diversity on their campuses. JEE exam is now conducted in five countries worldwide and we have added the USA to this list. The US has benefited significantly by the presence of a large number of IIT alumni there and there is considerable awareness in the US about IITs.
